An Estimate Location is one that is displayed to your map by trying to guess your location from your Service Providers location and or your computers IP address range.

An IP address is a sequence of numbers that a computer uses to connect to the internet. IP addresses on the internet have to be unique.

Geolocation by using IP addresses is not 100% accurate. IP addresses shift all the time and with time our databases lose accuracy, although we update them as frequently as possible. The accuracy range for the majority of developed countries' cities is over 80% accurate within 25 miles. In anycase, the Geolocation tool is only an assistant. For 100% accurate results all the time, just set your location! This can be changed at any time too!

LOGGED IN: If you are logged in, the iInteract engine alreay knows your location so it does not use the Geolocation tool. It instead displays your preferred location. This setting is in your preferences and can be changed at any time.

NOT LOGGED IN If you are not logged in, iInteract displays an estimated location by default. As estimation is not always correct, you can change this location my dragging the map and using the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, clicking on the Change Location button on the left side of the screen, and finally, clicking on the part of the mep that you want events to be displayed.

If someone is bothering or harassing you, blocking them is usually the best solution. Visit the Account Settings page to learn how to block people. If someone continues to harass you despite your efforts, you can report them here.

There is NO cost in creating a normal event at all. You can create as many as you wish for no cost. Only Featured events are charged, but these are only creatable by users with Featured accounts.

Featured events are different from other events because they stay on the website for longer and are displayed first in the list. More on Featured Events.

Only Featured accounts can create Featured events. By default, all Featured accounts are Featured.
